History

This is how many CABx began, but……

The Yare Valley & District Citizens Advice Bureau was formed more recently, in 2008 as a result of the merger between the Gt Yarmouth & District CAB and the Wymondham, Attleborough & District CAB.
All three bureaux have played an important part in the life of the communities they serve, and are grateful for the support they have received from their local councils and residents.

As an example of the range of work covered by the bureaux, during 2006/7 the Wymondham & Attleborough bureau carried out more than 17,300 contacts with, and on behalf of clients on issues ranging from welfare benefits, housing, debt and consumer issues.
