The Wymondham Bureau is on the move!
Over the Christmas break we shall be moving to 6 Griffin Court, off Market Street, Wymondham, and will open there on Monday 4 January 2010. The extra space in Griffin Court will allow us to provide a much better service for those who come for advice, and we hope waiting times will be greatly reduced. Telephone numbers will stay the same as before.
Discrimination in Employment
We have received funding from the Equality and Human Rights Commission to offer advice and support on Discrimination in Employment, such as helping with letters, questionnaires and claims to the Employment Tribunal, for people who live, work or are visiting the Gt Yarmouth area.
Lesley Jones, Chief Executive of the Yare Valley CAB said, "our specialist worker has already seen clients with issues of potential discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation, age, part time workers rights and sex discrimination". If you feel you have been discriminated against in your workplace on grounds of gender, race, disability, sexual orientation, religion or belief and age, contact the Gt Yarmouth bureau.
I’m sure you wouldn’t have thought that you could help the CAB by shopping!
If you like to shop on line you can access many of the familiar internet shopping sites such as Mothercare, M & S, Tesco, John Lewis, Asda, Sky, Amazon, etc via buy.at/wadcab or buy.at/gycab - (no www.)
By going to your usual internet store through the buy.at link the store will give a small percentage of the amount you spend with them, to the CAB. It costs you nothing, but the pennies soon grow into pounds and are a very welcome addition to our funds.
So why not make buy.at/wadcab (or /gycab) your shopping link in your browser.
