Social policy

The Yare Valley & District CAB is committed to identifying issues of social policy that can lead to discrimination and inequality in society.

We, along with other bureaux across the country, submit anonymous evidence based on our clients’ experiences to our national association, Citizens Advice.

This evidence is gathered together and presented in the form of reports to Government to alert them to problems and unfairness resulting from legislation or policy decisions, and to persuade Government to amend policies that are leading to inequality.
